ADA Tour de Cure – Sunday June 8

On Sunday, June 8, Brothers of the Chicago Alumni Chapter will be volunteering at a rest stop for the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure. The Tour de Cure is a bike ride to raise money for diabetes research, and hopefully find a cure for this disease that affects over 26 million Americans.

The location for 2014 is TBD.

This year, the American Diabetes Association expects over 1,200 riders to participate, making it the largest Chicagoland Tour de Cure ever! These riders will need food and drink at their rest stops to refuel from biking anywhere between 10 and 100 miles! We have signed up to staff one of the rest stops.

The American Diabetes Association leads the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fights for those affected by diabetes.

  • We fund research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes.
  • We deliver services to hundreds of communities.
  • We provide objective and credible information.
  • We give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes
